BOOSTER CLUB

This group sponsors all athletic programs for the parish, including basketball, football, baseball, t-ball, softball, volleyball, track, cheerleading, etc. To support these programs the Boosters have fundraisers, including fish frys, dances, as well as hosting athletic events.


BOY/GIRL SCOUTS

A planned program for both boys and girls, which teaches Christian values are instilled along with respect for others, self-discipline, loyalty, honor, teamwork, thoughtfulness, and self-reliance. This is accomplished by activities, which provide fun and education, for both the Spanish and English speaking children.


CUB SCOUTS (BOYS)

This program is offered to boys from the ages of 6 through 10 1/2 (grades 1-5). The program is based on family involvement with each boy.


KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

A fraternal organization for men that works very closely with the parish to help people in time of need. Our focus will also include assisting in church needs as well. Catholic men in good standing with their church are always welcome to join.


PICNIC

The annual St. Rita Picnic is held the second weekend in July. Although the picnic is a 2-day event, it involves an entire week of preparation…grounds set up, chicken dinner preparation, working booths, beer garden, clean-up, etc.


QUILTING CIRCLE

This group meets every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to make quilts for the annual parish picnic. They quilt at three different frames, while at the same time others mark and cut into pieces which are sewn together to make a quilt top.
